An Italian classic with Tanqueray London Dry Gin, notes of orange peel, clove and a cheeky hint of bitterness.
There’s no middle ground with a Negroni. You’re either a loyal Negroni fan, or it’s just not for you. We have a real soft spot for this bitter-sweet cocktail and if you’re anything like us, you’ll fall in love with this award-winning version on the first sip. It was crafted by master mixologist Patrick Pisolesi with equal parts Tanqueray London Dry Gin, Cocchi Storico Vermouth di Torino, Campari and Angostura Aromatic Bitters, making it a punchy drink that’s ideal to have just before dinner.
THE NEGRONI STORY
It’s Florence 1919 – maybe 1920, and Count Camillo has decided that his usual Americano just won’t cut it this time. Inspired by recent trips to London, he asks barman Fosco Scarzelli to replace the soda water with a dash of gin instead. And so, the Americano ‘Count Negroni-style’ was born. It’s still an all-time classic aperitivo – perhaps the ultimate aperitivo full-stop.
