Delta Cabernet Sauvignon

Delta Wines is the latest project from Brick & Mortar winemaker/owner Matt Iaconis. Together with his wife, Alexa, Matt wanted to produce a range of affordable, top-notch wines. To be blunt, something we don’t see much from California!

Delta also gives Matt & Alexa a chance to “pay it forward”, with $1 per bottle sold being donated to causes that support environmental protection and policy change.

It’s what I call a win-win-wine!

For this juicy bottle, Matt sources from vineyards throughout Sonoma and the Central Coast, ferments the grapes with native yeasts, then ages in a mixture of neutral and new oak barrels. It drinks like $25-30 Cab… yowsa! Gotta get me some! Sigh… if only more California vintners would offer this much bang for buck under $20!

Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot made, so load up while we have it!
