Based on a style popular during gin’s heyday, Pomp & Whimsy reinvents a time when gin was bolstered with infusions and light sweetness for a fruit/floral/botanical trinity of flavor.
Pomp & Whimsy is made from scratch from 16 natural and whole ingredients including juniper, coriander, angelica, grapefruit, bitter orange, cucumber, lychee, raspberry, lavender and jasmine pearls.
Light citrus and exotic fruits on the start, evolving into a dry, warm spice finish, with a familiar suggestion of citrusy juniper on the tail. The gin acts as a base that grounds the heavy fruit and floral notes that the liqueur incorporates. Subtly sweet and eminently quaffable.
Try it straight, over ice, in a French 75 or other champagne-based cocktail, paired 50/50 with cognac, or in a modified Negroni with Aperol and half sweet, half dry vermouth.
