A vineyard located on clayey limestone slopes. A unique and prestigious terroir.
The “generic” CHABLIS are the most available wines. Clear, fresh and light, their aromas and flavours develop rapidly. They keep for 5 years and more, depending on the vintage. CHABLIS is served between 10° and 12°C as an aperitif, with oysters, seafood, snails, cold meats, goat cheese or Gruyère cheese.
The Chablis wines, which are available in 4 appellations d’origine contrôlée (AOC), are all made from the Chardonnay grape variety :
- CHABLIS Grands Crus and CHABLIS Premiers Crus,
- CHABLIS and Petit Chablis.
